Hungarian hand painted porcelain bread and butter plate with gold border and signed by the painter. Designed by Anna Weatherley. Anna Weatherley established a studio in Budapest, Hungary. At her studio shee trained a group of master painters to create hand painted dinnerware and various accessories. Her inspiration were early botanical and floral artists in Europe in the 18th century. Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue magazine, commissioned Anna Weatherley to design a pair of hand painted cachepots for Princess Diana when she visited Washington D.C. She has also designed numerous pieces for the White House and the British royal family.
