Foo Dogs, or guardian lions, are a traditional Chinese architectural ornament. These figures are deeply rooted in Chinese culture and represent power, courage, and good fortune. These are glazed in the Sancai style. Sancai glazing became popular during the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD).
